Several measures electro, several measures trip-hop, and umpteen doses of pop – it’s an epic little number that we’ve been playing on repeat since we first heard it yesterday. With a touch of the 90s to it, it’s a beautiful journey through a long and drawn-out post-heartbreak analysis. It’s got a great vocal on it too.
Helena Johansson has thus far spent most of her professional life working in Nashville penning hits for others. But she’s now returned to her native Sweden to commence work on her debut pop album. And if it all sounds anything like what you’re about to listen below, then Nashville’s loss is Scandipop’s gain.
